Schober Information Group Deutschland GmbH becomes official business partner of VfB Stuttgart
Stuttgart, 29.01.2024 – Schober Information Group Deutschland GmbH has become an official business partner of VfB Stuttgart and will help the German national first league soccer club to put its database on a new footing. The partnership brings with it an innovative customer data platform called “udo”, which will take the relationship between the club and its fans and customers to a new level.
The aim of the cooperation between VfB Stuttgart and Schober Information Group Deutschland GmbH is to improve the quality of service for VfB fans. A centralized, reliable database is essential for this.
Schober Information Group Deutschland GmbH combines 75 years of experience in data management, analysis, campaigns and artificial intelligence (AI) in a customer data platform that is second to none. That’s why VfB Stuttgart decided to use “udo”, Schober’s groundbreaking next-generation customer data platform. “udo” will enable VfB to manage customer information more efficiently and create unique service experiences.
VfB and Schober see permanent data quality as a process. The data is continuously cleansed and maintained and strict security practices are implemented in accordance with data protection regulations. After all, if you want to be successful in the long term, there is no getting around the operationalization of your data management and the continuous quality assurance of your data. In order to improve the services for VfB fans, however, the cleansed and merged data must ultimately also be made usable. The “udo” customer data platform will help VfB to strengthen fan loyalty and promote services both online and offline.
“The partnership between Schober and VfB Stuttgart promises an exciting future,” says Sylvia Türcke, Managing Director of Schober Information Group Deutschland GmbH, “because the implementation of “udo” will provide VfB with numerous other added values in terms of data and process optimization as well as communication measures, which will be successively developed.”
Rouven Kasper, Director of Marketing and Sales at VfB Stuttgart, emphasizes: “We are looking forward to a good cooperation with an extremely renowned, innovative expert company from our region. Thanks to the partnership with Schober, VfB will be able to structure its data management much better and more efficiently in the future. This is an important building block for further improving the quality of service at VfB. This further development should be noticeable for our fans and also make new offers possible.”
