The market for professional services and consulting continues to grow strongly. The advisory function in sales is also gaining in importance. The degree course in Business Administration with a specialization in Service Management (DLM), with a focus on Consulting & Sales, provides the necessary technical, methodological, linguistic and social knowledge and skills to solve demanding operational and inter-company challenges. STUDY OBJECTIVES
STUDY CONTENTS

The aim of the Business Administration degree course in Service Management (DLM) with a focus on Consulting & Sales is to combine the necessary business management skills with service, consulting and sales skills and to train essential skills in organization, planning, control and communication. Graduates are qualified for numerous fields of work, including

  • Collaboration in consulting and sales projects
  • all functional areas of service providers and consulting companies (planning and organization; marketing and sales; project and quality management; controlling; personnel management …)
  • Service and consulting departments as well as sales departments of companies

Business administration and service management form the core of the course. The elective subject “Consulting & Sales” allows students to set their own individual focus. Practical projects, case studies and management simulations complement the course.

The course is supplemented by interdisciplinary key qualifications (including project management skills with the possibility of obtaining a certificate, presentation and communication skills, negotiation, mediation and conflict skills, team skills and international English skills). Project (integration) seminars are offered on a regular basis. The tasks are based on practical experience and resemble a classic consulting project, from the briefing by project partners to the final presentation. International project seminars, which are combined with a study trip abroad (e.g. India, Singapore/Malaysia), are also carried out.
